On Tuesday, Year 2 arrived at school with their suitcases packed ready to make the journey to Kenya. They travelled by plane and learnt all about the country and many of its geographical features. They are back safely and can recall all sorts of things about their exciting day.
Year 2 have begun to learn how to play the ukelele today.
Year 1 had a visit from the animal man. He showed them a barn owl, tarantula, skunk, bearded dragon, snake and a turnreck. The children enjoyed getting close to the animals and asked lots of questions.
Herman has spent the day in Reception helping them to learn about their bones.
Year 5 are to go on a local walk to look for clues from the past.
