We went to the dinosaur park, counted out the correct number of dinosaur eggs. wrote a wanted poster for the t-rex, built our down dinosaurs and played in the Jurassic small world! We also discovered a T-rex had visited our classroom over the weekend!
On Thursday 3rd March we celebrated World Book Day. The children and staff all looked amazing in their costumes and had a wonderful day learning about books and authors. The day began with a special assembly led by Mrs Cashmore and ended with a whole school reading for pleasure session in the hall.
This week, Reception have spent time in the minibeast investigation lab! They made minibeasts in the construction area; hole punched food as if they were the hungry caterpillar; played I spy with phonics and made pancake faces for Shrove Tuesday! What an exciting few weeks they have ahead.
Year 1 had a fantastic Pirate Day last half term! They enjoyed designing treasure maps, cooking hard tack biscuits, building boats, learning to talk like a pirate with Polly the parrot, treasure hunting, singing sea shanties, and walking the plank.
Public Consultation on Admission Arrangements for 2023-24
In accordance with the School Admissions Code , our school is formally consulting on our admission arrangements for the academic year 2023/2024.
The consultation process commences on Monday 20th December and will close Monday 31st January 2022.
Our draft Admissions Policy for the academic year 2023/2024 is available to view on the Admissions page of the school website and copy is available from the school office.
Please note that proposed changes to the Admission Arrangements are highlighted in yellow in the policy.

Year 4 had a very exciting day with the Roman Soldier.
This week Reception have thought about celebrating birthdays.
Year One had a surprise this week when they came back from playtime to find their classroom all messed up. They had to look for clues as to who it could have been and found a hungry tiger in the role play shed! He delivered us a new book; 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' which will be our new book in English.
